Welcome to Articuloud
Articuloud is a text-to-speech AAC system from Dad In A Shed, designed for people who can type but need support to speak.
Use Articuloud through the Android app or online in a web browser. Type your message, choose a voice, and Articuloud speaks it aloud.
It can support people with conditions or impairments that affect speech, including Motor Neurone Disease/ALS, cerebral palsy, stroke, head and neck cancer, and head injury.
Articuloud includes:
- predictive text
- phrase banking
- saved vocabulary
- online backup
- access across multiple devices
- support for browser-based AAC systems, including eye-gaze devices
- location-based phrases for places such as home, shops, work, or the pub
The Android app can use third-party keyboards and voices, helping people communicate in their preferred language. The online version works on most devices with a web browser and internet connection, including iPads, Android tablets, PCs and Macs.
Your vocabulary and settings are saved to your online profile, so they are available when you log in on another device.
